An ambitious IT project to lead digital transformation over 13 countries to optimize all business processes. A challenge with many layers, where we accounted from sketching the strategic outlines to successful operational implementation internationally.

Culture eats strategy for breakfast

Strong organic growth and strategic acquisitions in the past years have brought along some challenges. To maintain operational efficiency and continuous growth, a unified IT system, an aligned business organization to improve international collaboration was necessary.

Outcome

We had to think global, so we could act local

A dedicated internal service design team was at the base to transform this international organisation bottom-up. From the start it was crucial to map out the impact of this transformation on both the people, business and daily operations.


Doing so, we brought together the different layers within the organization, helped create a solid base of support and earned trust for a unified way of working throughout the whole organization.

Our integrated strategy and approach resulted in bringing management closer to daily operations and vice versa. This resulted in better understanding and insights of both employee and hands-on customer expectations that improved the quality and service levels as never before.

Countless new business opportunities surfaced soon after and reinforced the pioneers position of TVH in the international rental business even further.
